EARLY LIFE & YOUTH VOLLEYBALL

From Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Levi started playing beach volleyball at just five years old after a teacher encouraged more physical activity to channel his boundless energy. In addition to volleyball, he practiced capoeira and played soccer.

At age 10, he joined Fluminense Football Club, where he transitioned from recreational volleyball to competitive play. Within a year, he began training seriously, competing in club tournaments, and winning multiple state and national championships. At 17, he was called to represent Brazil's National Team, earning his first professional contract. He went on to win a South American Championship and finished 6th in the FIVB U19 World Championship.

HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE SUCCESS

Levi attended CEL (Centro Educacional da Lagoa) in Rio de Janeiro, where he helped the school win its first-ever national championship title.

He later moved to the United States to play collegiate volleyball at California Baptist University (CBU), where he made an immediate impact. His accomplishments include:

• 2× NAIA National Champion

• 2× NAIA All-American

• 2× NCAA D1 All-American

• Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) All-Academic Team

• AVCA Player of the Year

• Multiple school records

PROFESSIONAL VOLLEYBALL CAREER

After college, Levi played professional volleyball across multiple countries, competing at the highest levels of the sport. His career highlights include:

• 3 seasons in France, winning a European Cup with Tours Volleyball and finishing as the tournament's kill leader.

• 1 season in Turkey with Fenerbahçe, reaching the Final Four of the Turkish League.

• 1 season in Poland with Indykpol Olsztyn.

• 1 season in Brazil with Sesc, earning a Bronze Medal in the Brazilian Superliga.

BUSINESS & COACHING EXPERIENCE

While still in college, Levi began coaching at age 19, working summers with Gold Medal Square (GMS) Summer Camps, one of the most recognized volleyball coaching programs in the U.S.

After retiring from professional volleyball, he transitioned into the corporate world, working as a Financial Advisor for Prudential Financial Brasil. However, his passion for the sport led him back to volleyball, and he co-founded Volleyball Academy with longtime friend Rodrigo Gomes. The academy is dedicated to making high-quality volleyball training accessible to young athletes, focusing on structured development, competition, and fun.
